Well.. no new news yet. which i dont know if thats good or bad, so i just wont wory aout it... even thoug i still am. I hve been workin really hard all day today to turn in the rest of my communicaitons class stuff. It has been roug for me to turn everything in on time, due to all the hopital visits, so i wont get as good as a grade as i think i would.
I tried calling the nursing line today on my way home from the orthopedic surgeons, and got the voicemail. so i left a message- no call back.
The school nurse called me today looking for answers, and of course i have none- so she said if i can- to stay out of classrooms- which suchs because i have tests tomorrow , haha so ill just have to go in anways. My other pediatrician called me today too wondering if childrens called me back s that she could fil out my forms- but again- cant do that either So... im guessing i wont find anything out until wednesday- my birthday...
I really pray that its nothing serious, i already have to get set up for this stupid 9 months therapy for TB, the last thing i need right now is another damn diagnoses.
Today was kind of weird, i PASSED OUT for the first time in months since ive been on my heart medication. And after that i was having .. "chest" pain all day. I feel like there is fluid in my lungs o something, dk, its always a sharp stabbin pain, but then i feel like i had to cough out a river i dont even know how to describe it. I still have been having those same side pains as well , as i always have had since the liver treatment.....
Well... other than feeing sick today, i got a ton accomplished... now for the rest of the week to go by smoothly is what i pray for ...
Bed time.. night night everyoe.

The doctors appt...
Man.
it never ends...
so today went to childrens speciality hospital in minneapolis. First off so much constrution and traffic on the way to get there i was such a damn hassle. Finally got there, and had to wait for my mom to get there too since we drove separetly. Anyways, took the lady forever to check me in. Finally got called back, had a good appointmet - as in i Like my new doctors and the nurse practioner and such. The conclussions are really vague.
They basically are testing me or a variety of things. One thing thoughthe doctors said that it DOESNT matter that i had this BCG immunization in russia, because it would have expired by now, so now there is a reason why im getting a positive. it could be ACTUAL TB. or it could be another type of myobacterium or whatever she called it. So they had to take my blood and test it with Quantiferon". .. and this will tell us if the tuberculosis bacteria is present in my blood... If it IS present then they will procede to do a sputum test ....haha sweet.. and gross.... and then if that comes back positive then i have to go on the rigorous therapy for ACTIVE TB... which includes 4-5 different pills a day and it screws up my LIVER. right, juts what i need. So if it comes back negative then they will do a chest xray to see where things are going- well, no matter what they are oding the chest xray ANYWAYS- next week sometime. But back on to if its negative- if the quantiferon test is negative they will put me on the 9 months therapy plan with just the 1 pill a day for latent TB, (even if i really dont even have it.. stupid i say, but whatever, its a precautionary approach i guess) ... So if its negative and my chest xray still shows something then we have to go down a different path with other diseases. A couple she had in mind were Histoblastoma, some other blastomas i forgot what she called it.. she is testing me for HIV, im pretty sure im neg haha. just considering i tried to donate blood way back when i found out with my liver, and i know that came back neg. and theres no chance i could have HIV but shes testing me anyways, because of my immunolgoy history with all the chronic infections ive had with my ears and sinus's and such. Apparently its a red flag. When she was asking me today about my backround she asked every single question there was about the enviroment and what ive been aorund, cats, dogs, dirt, saw dust, mining, and the list goes on and on and on... i wonder how many times she has to ask those things. What im mostly worried for is this therapy will mess up my liver no matter what, i really dont want to mess around with my liver any more than it already is being. So, thats the last thing i need. I really truely dont think its TB... i just have a gut feeling. I have a gut feeling though its something blastoma or whatever. The CT scan found those module things they called them, and I think the doctor said they were "Calcified" .. haha wonderful....
alright
well ill find out the results monday-wednesday of next week.. i hate waiting.
Ill update when i know more...
on pain scale today though
probably a 3. not too bad at all to be honest.
Side hurts when i take a deeeeep breath.
Alright, have a good night.

Lung Infection
Well... lets see....
So... okay.where do i even begin? The month of June has totally sucked. Ive been overwhelmed with the colorado trip i took with everything going on withthat... but i had a great time and would eventually love to move out there.
okay down to business
So i got accepted into the medic program!! woowoo
but the kicker is that i had to get a physical.. and a mantoux test for Tuberculosis. Okay so i have had many of these skin tests done before and they have always come back positive because i always assumed i had the BCG immunization back in russia. So whatever, i told my school nurse tha tand she said just to go in for a chest x-ray JUST to make sure. So when i went to have my physical, i told my doctor that so okay great- i went and had my chest xray. LUCKY me, they found modules" in my left sided lower lobe, they werent sure if it was bacteria or if it was just from maybe me moving, so when i got home from colorado i went bcak to the hospital to get another xray done , this time, there was something in my middle right lobe of my lung, and there was definetly something there. So then i had to go get a CT scan done on my lungs,(which by the way sucked, because i had to get a contrast done so they injected the dye in and it felt like my whole body was on fire and that i was pissing mypants and that i was eating metal) .. not so cool.. and they still found something there. Now,we arent sure if this is actually even Tuberculosis, but regardless of what it is, i have to do 9 Months of treatment for the Tuberculosis positive test that i have on my arm. So that really sucks, i just got done with 11 months for my live,r and here comes another 9 months. The sucky thing on this is that the treatment is really hard on the liver.... umm.. i have liver disease.. NOT good. So the doctors are trying to find ways ot maybe go around the standard treatment. I dont know.. but anyways, what has happend is that since i had a positive Mantoux test with a reaction of 11mm, they had to notify the state of minnesota, and the dakota county department of health, so now the government is involved, which god knows how well this will all go. I go in on July 9th (my moms birthday) to the Infectious disease and Immunology clinic in minnepolis at childrens hospital to get more answers to see what exactly this is. I really hope its not TB, because TB spreads really quickly, and i have come in contact with so many people in my life time that it would take away alot of things from me including my Job... considering i work as a CNA in a group home. So... I guess it sucks..
Everything else is going okay though, my heart conidition i think is stable, no more passing out episodes, my liver is actually hurting again , or maybe it is my lungs since apparently thats where the stuff was , where it hurt, but i always just thought it was where my liver was, who knows. But anyways that pain IS back, but i think it comes and goes with my period (sorry for the wonders of being a girl) But, so thats not fun,... My knee is another story, I was starting to have really bad joint problems with my knee for awhile so i finally went in to see a specialist, and they found that my left patella is laying out of the groove, so ive been doing physical therapy now for 2 months, had to buy 300$ foot orthotics, and a knee brace at all times, and ice and elevation plus pain medication for it... Its not getting better and i go to see the doctor for that again on Monday July 12th, to see what else we can do, i know surgey was brought up a couple of times...
So i guess... so...
Liver is okay- not great but doing better
Kidneys-meh whatever
Heart- better/same
Lungs- INFECTED!
WELL atleast now with 9 more months of treatment ill actually beable to keep up a steadly blog again! ....
ON TOP OF EVERYTHING... my doctors are holding my medical forms, so now i have to go talk to my program director about everything. and i also still have to update my school nurse...
GREAT. ... so sick of this!
Sorry its been so long ... ive been busy.!
